30/07/14: North Adelaide
A perfect winter's day (sunny and 17C) although the course continues to play very long.
Only four starters, with:
- Kevin injured (bicycle malfunction) after hitting peak form last week.
- Don recovering from his eye operation - but came out to caddy and coach (for a modest fee)
- Phil on holidays, headed towards Darwin and sunshine/warmth.
As expected, the team of Mensforth & Whicker proved too strong for Milde & Pring (who were 3 up after the front nine, and square on the 18th tee). Ordinary individual scores, but a great contest between the two teams.
Front nine: Bronte (15)
Back nine: Greg (19) from Peter (17)
Highlights:
No birdies, but Pring's drives were worth seeing on 10 of the 14 driver holes.
EET SIngles Competition: First Round
Paul Tatterelli snuck in over Bronte Milde at Mt Compass last Sunday.
Bronte is arranging to delete "EET SIngles Champion" from his email signature & voicemail.

Wednesday Competition
23/07/14: North Adelaide
Drizzle set in after a few holes. Cleared up towards the end, but only the hardy souls out of the six starters flourished.
Front nine: Kevin (18 points) from Damien (17), Peter (16) and Phil (15)
Back nine: Kevin and Peter (15), daylight next
Overall: Kevin (33) from Peter (31)
Highlights:
None. Kevin's 4 for 4 on the eighth and Phil's 3 for 4 on the sixth don't count.

Overall: Greg (35) from Craig (32)

Wednesday Competition
25/06/14: North Adelaide
Cancelled due to a lousy forecast and heavy rain on previous days.
02/07/14: Patawalonga
A perfect winter's day - sunny and calm, 16C and a relatively dry course.
Seven starters, eventually (a formal GAW apology for the mixup with emails - it had nothing to do with Phil winning the money last time !).
I am informed that the conditions suited real golfers - those with the full range of skills etc etc etc.
Front nine: Don (21) from Peter (19
Back nine: Peter and Damien (20) from Don & Kevin (17)
Overall: Peter (39) from Don (38), then daylight.
Highlights:
Pring: No scrubs, seven pars.
A par 3 for 4 points doesn't count, Damien.
