Another warm, sunny day with no breeze (~25C). Ten starters, with a special appearance by Eddie Zielke.
A number of reasonable scores. Unfortunately, they were made to look pitiful by Mr Gordge, who took all the money (again) with 40 points.

Gordge: par 4 tenth and par 4 thirteenth
Crathern: par 4 eighth (with apologies for not reporting his four pointer last week)

Wednesday Competition
18/02/15: North Adelaide
Ten starters on a warm, sunny day with virtually no breeze.
In his comeback game, Damien cunningly played most of his shots in the shade of the trees. Don also returned after his eye op with a very respectable 34 points.
Pretty ordinary scores from most, with Mr Beggs the main money winner. Most players improved their eclectic score by a shot or two.

Back nine: Brian & Don (18), from Stephen (16), Bob (15)
Overall: Beggs (35) from Boyle (34) & Whicker (31)
Birdies: Greg on par 3 fifth

Wednesday Competition
Monday 09/02/15: Fleurieu (Mt Compass)
Played at 9.00 am on a Monday to avoid the forecast hot weather later this week. A glorious day - sunny, mid twenties, with a light cool breeze (~ 1 club). Greens very good, fairways OK but some dry, bare patches.
Only four starters. As expected, the team of Kevin & Greg triumphed over Bronte & Peter.
Front nine: Greg (20 points) from Kevin (18)
Back nine: Greg (16) from Peter & Bronte (15)
Overall: Greg (36) from Kevin (31) and Peter (30).
Birdies: Greg on par 3 fifth.
Four point holes: Kevin on par 4 third (a very tricky hole)
Next week: probably back at North Adelaide (10.30 am), but will monitor weather forecast.

Another perfect day - 24C and sunny, with a slight SE breeze (~ 1 club). Course in good nick.
Nine starters, with the Doctor recovering from minor eye surgery. Six scores above 30 points.

- A grade (Greg Whicker with 39 points)
- B grade (Craig Burrett tied with 33 points)
- Long drive on the first hole (George Cleland)
Also, good scores by Ross Townsend, Dave Hammond and an unlucky Kevin Crathern.
