Six starters on a perfect day for golf. Warm and generally overcast with a faint breeze and some reasonable scores.
Front nine: Boyle (18) from Whicker (17) & Pring (16)
Back nine: Whicker (21) from Boyle (19), Milde (18) & Pring (16)
Overall: Whicker (38) from Boyle (37), Milde & Pring (32)
Birdies:
Whicker: Par 5 fifteenth
Four Point Holes:
Boyle: Par 4 fourth and par 4 tenth

Wednesday Competition
Tuesday 07/02/17: Echunga
Four starters on a Tuesday at Echunga to avoid the stinking hot days forecast for the rest of the week.
Two of the starters had ruled themselves out of contention, despite recent good form:
- Methofer still hasn't recovered from his golf lesson with a professional
- Batty bought new clubs, which should preclude winning anything for 2017.
The Meister reports that it got hot towards the end and was muggy for the entire round, with lack of run on the fairways after the last couple of days rain.
As expected, the team of Pring/Batty won the front nine 3 up, but inexplicably lost the back nine down two to Methofer/Milde.

Pring with 19 on the front nine, tired on the back straight, but scored 30 overall. No one else did !!!

Wednesday Competition
01/02/17: North Adelaide
Another perfect summers day for golf - mild (25C), calm and generally overcast, with a hint of drizzle for one hole.
Only 3 starters, with Batty once again dominating. His 37 points included 13 from the four par threes. Handicap adjustments next week will put an end to that nonsense.
Methofer's birdie on his signature hole, the par 3 twelfth, was a highlight in his respectable round (33 points).
Next week: Wednesday 10.25 am North Adelaide.
