Mr Pring reports:
- a torrential downpour on the first tee, followed by mainly sun and cloud the rest of the round (a 2 minute downpour on the 8th, plus a couple of light showers). Overall pretty good
- Long Drive - Kevin Crathern (the only person to hit the fairway)
- NTPs - Slugger, George, K Crathern and Ross
- Winner Rossco on 32 points (21 on the back), including five 3 pointers in a row. No-one else won a ball
- Kerri Oreo unfortunately dropped her scorecard on the 13th hole and the wind ripped it into many pieces
- six "pussies" pulled out on the first tee (including one who played with a border collie in front of a wood fire all afternoon).
Wednesday Competition Summary Update:
24/05/17: North Adelaide
Five starters on a lovely day for golf, with yet another golfing lesson from the Queensland tour champion, Kevin Crathern (39 points). Pring (34) wasn't embarrassing, but the rest were.
Pring birdied the par 5 seventh. Harding had two eclectic holes, Crathern another four.
The sooner Kevin's left-to-right shots return, the better for everyone.
17/05/17: Patawalonga
Five starters at the Pat, with good scores all round - 37 points for Crathern (unsurprisingly) & Gordge (surprisingly), Harding (34) & Batty (33). Milde clearly in handicap-management mode.
10/05/17: North Adelaide
Seven starters on a lovely autumn day for golf. Crathern with yet another 37 points was the clear winner, from Graeme Kewen (32), Peter Harding (32) and Milde (30)
Methofer had one eclectic hole (9th), while bloody Crathern had 5 eclectics.
Next Wednesday: North Adelaide: 10.19 & 10.25 am.
