Wednesday Competition

Played on a Monday to avoid a forecast shocker on Wednesday.   Lovely day, about 30C and sunny with a light/mild breeze.   Played at the Vines using vouchers provided by Pring/Milde - well done guys.  Plenty of run on the fairways (hard & dry) with the greens in good condition (and easy to read) !!

Seven starters, with an outstanding performance by Kev Crathern (43 points) and a couple of other good scores.

Front nine:     Crathern (24 points) from Whicker (19) and Pring (17)
Back nine:     Whicker (20) from Crathern (19) and Pring (17)
Overall:          Crathern (43) from Whicker (39) and Pring (34)

Birdies:
Pring on par 3 third  (a 10 metre putt)
Whicker on par 5 fifth and par 3 fourteenth (an 11 metre putt)

Four point holes:
Crathern:   par 4 eighth

As expected, Boyle & Whicker triumphed over Pring & Gordge (just).
