Seven starters on the first day of winter, which was just a perfect day for golf - mild, sunny & calm. A guest appearance by Eddie Zielke, but scores were pretty ordinary all round. First day of preferred lies for fairways.
Front nine: Gordge (21) from Mensforth (19), Whicker (16)
Back nine: Whicker (14) - slightly embarrassed to take the money
Overall: Mensforth (32) from Gordge (31), Whicker (30)
Birdies: Whicker: par 4 first
Four point holes: Nil

Mensforth: hole 1
Whicker: hole 1
