Four starters on a lovely day for golf - about 29C with a cooling breeze. Fairways and rough hadn't been cut since the previous week, but not a sufficient excuse for the pretty ordinary golf.

Birdies:
Whicker: par 5 seventh
No four point holes;
Boyle/Batty snuck in over Methofer/Whicker
