28/02/2018: Willunga
Six starters on our first visit to Willunga for a long, long time. On a perfect day for golf, the course was very busy, well maintained and interesting, with a number of huge greens. Overall, a pleasant course which is relatively short, but worth an occasional visit.
The highlight of the day was Bronte (henceforth "the new Damien"), arriving at the course without his golf clubs. Scores were generally pretty average, with Mal Freeman winning the day on only his second round with EET.
Front nine: Harding (17) from Freeman (16)
Back nine: Crathern (18) from Freeman & Methofer (17), Whicker & Cleland (16)
Overall: Freeman (33) from Harding & Crathern (32), Methofer (31)
Next Week: TUESDAY Mt Osmond 12.30 pm (two tees)
Whicker has 3 Entertainment Book vouchers - can someone please bring one more (just in case).
