Six starters used vouchers for another round at Blackwood. The scores did not reflect the lovely weather and excellent course, with only "Mr Consistency" (Bob Batty 36 points) and Kev Crathern (30 points) holding their heads up.
From the scores, it appears that our Secretary pulled out after 9 holes - but maybe not !!

Pring reports: another glorious day - tops, vests, etc came off after the second hole, and stayed off until the end. Probably raining next week, so we enjoyed it while we could.
Winner on the day – Phil Methofer 34 points, from Bob Batty and the Meister 33.
Methofer 3 for 4 on the temporary 12th – no
apologies!
Peter Harding 3 for 4 on the par three 16th.
He promptly made up for it on the 17th .Meister lipped out about 5 times (comment: he has always been the second-most unlucky golfer in the EET).
